Wow, nice tie-in to some of the economic crises affecting the US and Europe in recent years.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'd imagine the Ferengi must have undergone similar things with their economy many a time, though at least they can't print their currency as it ain't fiat!

Author's Response: Ha ha ha! Erm have you read Knowing Oneself and Reunion before this story? Please do so because a) Sarah is not 99 years old, and b) when I wrote the Sarah character the Bible was the last thing I had in mind.
To answer your question regarding Sarah it's best to read the two stories I mentioned above, and things will become a lot more clearer to you. The Vizorian part of the story only works if you have read these two stories, otherwise it is rather confusing... Anyway glad you like the Ferengi part of this story!

Sounds like embezzlement-style trouble's a-brewin' in Ferenginar!
And the Vizorians - is Sarah a human? I'm catching (did you intend this) a reference to the Biblical Sarah, who conceived when she was 99 years old.
