The Twelve Trials of Triskelion are officially underway. For week one, the goal is recruit, recruit, recruit! We want to see lots of new faces here and at the forums, and new stories and reviews on the archive to boot. The official rules are:
Week One: Recruit!
Obviously, any good website needs more participants! This week, it is your job to bring some new blood to Ad Astra, or bring back old friends. Each new participating person is worth one point, each old friend is worth a half-point. By participating new members, I mean five reviews on the main archive, or one new story. Old friends just need to show up.
Participants can find a list of members here; look through the list, and see if you can get in contact with anyone who has been missing from the site or forums for more than four months. The last time they accessed the forum should be at the top of their profile. They don't even have to stay, they just have to stop by and let us know they're alive and well! (Though, we would really like them to stay...)
All new members, feel free to join in the fun here and start recruiting yourselves. If you're new, you'll need to make an account on the forums, too not just here at the archive. And for those new folks, or those returning after an absence of four months or longer, be sure to go here and tell us who sent you.
Best of luck!
Tallies will be made at the end of the week as to who brought in the most new blood. Prize is a $5 gift card courtesy of our fearless Provider SLWalker.

Your worthy winner last time round was jespah. Her story won her the right to offer the new monthly challenge and to have her story featured on the archive's front page. jespah raised the most smiles in April's challenge and now this time round she asks us to show forgiveness. Here's the challenge she presents:
To err is human, but ...
Your characters have done wrong, and have made mistakes. Everyone does. So let them off the hook, and forgive your characters.
The challenge is about forgiveness - achieving it, giving it or maybe even withholding it.
I think you'll agree, a thought provoking and interesting challenge that should create a lot of interesting storytelling possibilities. We'll run the challenge until May 31st and then voting will open. Good luck to all who participate.
For discussion on the challenge go HERE.
