Summary: Season 2, 19th story
On the suggestion of a counsellor, Max visits Coplin, who is under tight guard in a starbase. During his conversations with his twin brother, Max discovers from Coplin a shocking piece of information about the Tren trying to capture Megan, and that the Tren believe Megan is not human.
When Max returns back to DS9, he tells Megan this. Megan is deeply intrigued and asks Bashir to run a DNA test on her. After painstaking analysis, Bashir discovers a shocking truth; Megan is not human. Not only that, but the clue to Megan's origins lies beyond a subspace rift close to the Bajoran star system...
