Part Two of Star Trek: Tesseract

In 2378, the crew of the USS Voyager delivered a devastating blow to the Borg Collective when they destroyed a key transwarp hub to the Alpha Quadrant, and the Borg unicomplex.  They hoped it would be the end of the Borg threat.  They were wrong.

Nearly eight years later, the crew of the USS Tesseract -- the first official Starfleet mission of exploration to the Delta Quadrant – has found a quadrant in ruins, torn apart by the Collective and a new, more terrifying kind of Borg -- the Borg Resistance.  They are free of the Collective, free of established protocols, without cohesion or unity, and operating under cloak.  Their new superweapon could put an end to warp society as the galaxy has known it – but it’s also the only thing standing between the Borg Collective and its ultimate goal of assimilating or destroying the entire United Federation of Planets.

Now, while the Federation and its tenuous allies prepare for a full-scale Borg invasion, the Tesseract crew -- alone in the Delta Quadrant -- must find a way to finish what Voyager started, and one young ex-Borg Starfleet officer must decide whether to embrace his destiny ... or boldly defy it.

Doctor Bashir asks Commander Sisko to intermediate with an alien family who, because of their religious beliefs, refuse to allow a routine treatment that would save their dying child.

In 2423, the galaxy is at a crossroads. The two dominating powers in the quadrants, the Federation and the Klingon Empire, are teetering on the edge of war for the first time in decades. In the days leading up to the Dominion War, the U.S.S. Tian An Men goes missing while on patrol of the Cardassian border.  The U.S.S. Magellan, a Galaxy-class starship, is sent to negoiate with the Cardasssians after some maneuvering to get the assignment by it's new captain.  Along the way a bold plan is formed to rescue the Tian An Men and it's crew.

A century before the Dominion War, the Ku'Vok-leth (The Honor Brigade) was a prominent military faction within the Klingon Empire. When the Empire and the Federation made peace, the Ku'Vok-leth became far less influential. Following the Dominion War, the Klingon High Council began turning a blind eye to the actions of the Ku'Vok-leth. Now, this anti-Federation group plans on using one of the biggest scientific discoveries, a single particle capable of destroying subspace, as a weapon.

Retired Starfleet captain Benjamin Sisko must reunite with his former colleagues to stop these Klingon radicals before they can cut off a strategically important star system from the Federation forever.

But this conspiracy turns out to be more than just a simple act of terrorism, as Section 31, the Romulan Star Empire, and the Dominion have a vested interest in the events of the next few days. And as the crew of Deep Space Nine come to learn, such a conspiracy reaches all the way up to the President of the Federation.
